Four men meet in a bar.
Two men are white, one Mexican, and the fourth, black.
It is trivia night. Let the fun and games begin.
As men do, they chat and laugh and bust balls. They drink cold beer and cider and tip the bartender. They shoot the shit about work, kids, and sports. They high-five and fist-bump and back-slap. They hoot and holler and howl.
They are trivia kings on this night and win $250.00. They split the winnings four ways. Equally.
The four men shake hands, agree the evening was fun, and hope to do it again.
They walk to their cars and drive to their homes.
This is the sum of our story—four men meet in a bar, two white, one Mexican, and the fourth, black.
You will not see any of it reported on the nightly news.
